Google Sites: Changing Site Layout

How to change your Google Site layout.

The instructions will be shown in the new Google Sites. When going to sites.google.com, head on over to New Google Sites found at the left navigation list under Create. Then select the site you are working on or create a new site by clicking the plus icon add site icon at the bottom right of the screen.

Change site background?

With the new google sites, a theme is chosen and colors and fonts can be set within that theme. Below shows where to find this feature.

  1. Click on Themes at the top right of the screen.

  2. Select one of the six themes.

  3. Click on a color of your liking and click out of the box of colors to go back to the theme.

  4. Choose a font of your liking.

Editing sidebar or navigation

The new Google Sites doesn't have the sidebar like it did in the old Sites, however, you can update and change your navigation at the top by rearranging your pages to your liking. You can find the instructions to move pages at Document 60098 is unavailable at this time.  under Adding pages to your site.
