How to install CrashPlan PROe

How would I use the CrashPlan PROe service?
Once the software client is installed, files and folders that you select are backed up whenever the computer is connected to the Internet. You do not need to remember to initiate a backup; it happens automatically according to a schedule you set. Any files you choose to backup will be encrypted and securely stored on a server that is off-campus (in the cloud). You can access and restore them without contacting S&T IT. 

What are the key features of CrashPlan PROe?
-  Easy-to-use interface
-  Windows, Mac, or Linux computer can be backed up
-  Data is encrypted end-to-end during transfer to the the cloud and while at rest on the remote server
-  Previous versions are kept for each file
-  You can choose which files and folders are backed up, and you can restore them yourself.

Submit a ticket with your MoCode for $95.00 a year per user, or you can call or visit the Help Desk located in the library.

You will be added to the console then you will receive an email from Code42 with important information.
Click on the link in your email that reads "Click Here

Register as yourself and create a password. Click Complete Registration.

On the Welcome Screen click Yes, Continue button.

Click on the link on the right for your operating system. Typically it will be Windows (64 bit)

Once it's downloaded you can click on the link at the bottom of your browser the file or you can go to your downloads folder and find CrashPlanPROe_4

You will be given this screen as a welcome, click on Next.

Click "Only for Me" and then click Next

Allow it to go to the default location and click Next.

Click Install

This tells you that the install is complete. Click Finished

Fill in all blanks:
First Name
Last Name
Username is the email address you registered with.
The password from above that you created when you registered
The Registration Key and PROe Server address are located in your email.
Click Create Account

You can click on Change to change what files are backed up. Typically they are all the files in your profile. You can add others or take away files. Once ready, click on "Start Backup"
