Make your Start Menu look more like Win7

How to make your Start Menu look more like Windows 7

You can customize the new Start Menu by removing all the live tiles and make it look more like Windows 7. To do so, you simply need to remove the tiles from the right side of the Start Menu;

Unpin all the tiles on the right side of the Start Menu: Right-click on the tile you want and select "unpin from start"

You can also change the Start Menu's color by going to Settings > Personalization > Colors > Select the color you want

Put the tiles back on the right side of the Start Menu

Click the Start button > Click "All apps" > Right-click on the app that has a live tile, and choose "Pin to Start

There are also other Start-related options appearing under Personalization, with one allowing you to choose which folders will appear on the Start menu. This will also allow you to enable or disable the link to the primary Settings or File Explorer menus. This also contains folders for the main account folder, personal docs, music, pictures, videos, and downloads as well as the Home Group folder and network settings.
