Logging in to VPN

This is how to connect to VPN on the S&T campus

Please follow the instructions below. 

We need to verify you are using the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client. When running it, it should pop up a window like:


If you do not have the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client installed on your system please install it.

Open a browser window (I.E., Edge, Firefox, Chrome)

In the address bar, type: anyconnect.mst.edu

Log in with your campus credentials as MST-Users\<userID>

You will get this window:

Click Continue

If you get this window, click Windows Desktop

A file will be downloaded - anyconnect-win-3.1.05182-web-deploy-k9.exe

Run that file - it is probably in your downloads folder.

This screen will pop up

Click Next

Click in the Accept the terms radio button 

Click Next

Click Install

Click Finish

Go to Start --> Programs look for the Cisco folder --> Click Cisco Anyconnect


If you get the above screen, Press Connect.

At the next prompt, make sure you select S&T_Special_BMS if you are PhyFac  otherwise choose S&T_Campus_Access and enter mst-users\<username> (where username is your user id):


Enter your campus password and press OK 

You should then connect. If not, please send us screenshots of what you are seeing.
