Summary of Essential Steps to Creating a Google Site


    1. Login to your S&T Google Apps at google.com or myhome.mst.edu using your full S&T email address (@mst.edu) and campus password
      Note: See Apps tab if you have never activated your Google Apps account
    2. Create your site using an existing template or starting from scratch. Once your site is created, you can access it by signing in to sites.google.com with your S&T email address and clicking on the link to sites.
    3. Create and edit pages by populating your initial content including files, presentations, images, links, and integrating it with other Google Apps tools.
    4. Customize the navigation and appearance of your site as needed including, changing its design, colors, layout, internal links, and navigation.
    5. Share your site with collaborators (designating them as either viewers, editors, or owners as appropriate). 
    6. Maintain and improve your site over time by continuing to add content, refine navigation, monitoring traffic, and utilizing advanced editing skills.
